2018 is promising to be a year of change for middle market businesses. Please join New England Business Association and RSM on January 31st as we discuss the economic outlook and tax landscape for the year ahead.

The program will feature guest speakers:

Kevin Depew will provide an update on the economic forecast and key drivers impacting middle market businesses in 2018. Kevin is an Emmy Award-winning writer and producer, and co-author of the Middle Market Business Index. Prior to joining RSM, he worked in economics for Bloomberg LP, where he helped create the Bloomberg Brief economics newsletter. Kevin has also worked for Dorsey Wright and Associates, PaineWebber and AG Edwards. His former roles include chief strategist, director of research, financial markets analyst and portfolio manager. He attended St. John's College in Annapolis, MD and graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BA in Philosophy.

Al Cappelloni will explain the impacts of the most far-reaching tax changes since 1986 on both individuals and businesses. Al leads the RSM New England tax practice; with 30 years of experience, he has worked with many of the market's largest corporate clients in the areas of federal, state, and international taxation; mergers and acquisitions; strategic dispositions; and structuring transactions. Al is a member of the firm’s transaction advisory team and the national leader of the firm’s ASC 740 team. Prior to joining RSM, Al was a partner and executive committee member at Caturano and Company, and formerly a tax partner in the Boston office of a Big Four firm.  Al  holds a BSc from Penn State University, and an MBA from   Babson College.
